Azure Cloud Developer

We are looking for an Azure Cloud Developer to support our client based in Tallahassee, Florida.

US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.  

This is an onsite position. Candidates must be located in or near Tallahassee, Florida.

The project

TECKpert seeks to hire an Azure Cloud Developer to support our client, a government agency based in Tallahassee, FL. The role involves supporting a cloud migration and modernization project for a key system at the agency. This role involves working as part of a full lifecycle project development team to develop custom software applications, databases, and system integrations. The analyst will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to meet project objectives.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Lead full lifecycle application development including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure code quality and performance standards are met, performing unit testing prior to user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and system integration issues.
• Implement enhancements and support ongoing development activities of the project team.
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of project deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technology advancements relevant to the project.

Compensation and Term 

This opportunity is for a full-time,  position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $110,400 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire. 

Candidates are expected to work onsite at our client’s location. 

Qualifications you need

A successful candidate possesses or provides the following:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Microsoft development technologies and web application development.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a lead developer through the full software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React), WCF/WebAPI, and front-end technologies (HTML5, SASS, CSS frameworks like Bootstrap/Tailwind).
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Functions.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and knowledge of relational databases like Oracle and IBM DB2.
• Skilled in designing and deploying high-volume, high-transaction distributed web applications.
• Experience with Scrum, SAFe, or similar agile frameworks.
• Experience in Power BI, data migration/ETL solutions, Python, GIS frameworks, and cloud architecture.
