IT Support Technician

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to support our client based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.  

This is an on-site position. Candidates must be located in or near Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an IT Support Technicians to join a Technical Support Center within a large public sector agency in Broward County, FL. These positions are responsible for providing hands-on support to end users in a dynamic, enterprise IT environment. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting both Apple and Windows systems, with strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365. The position requires on-site presence and the flexibility to work various shifts. Comfort working in environments where personnel may be armed is required.
 

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users in person and via remote tools
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across Apple macOS and Windows 10/11 platforms
• Support identity and access management using Active Directory and Azure AD
• Assist with troubleshooting Office 365 suite applications and services
• Maintain and update technical documentation and asset tracking records
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or vendors when necessary
• Provide customer service and communicate effectively with non-technical users

Compensation and Term 

This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $50,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

Qualifications you need

A successful candiate has the following experience:

• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems
• Prior experience supporting Apple devices in an enterprise or large organization
• Experience with Active Directory and Azure
• Hands-on knowledge of Office 365 applications and administration
• Demonstrated ability to work onsite and support a shift-based schedule (morning or evening)
• Comfort working in a law enforcement environment

• Completion of A+ certification training at any point in technical career
• Any currently active IT certifications (please list them on the resume)
